As well as running special events in the school holidays, we are now open outside of these fixtures for Woodland Adventure Days!

Come on down to our ancient woods between the 17th April till 1st Oct 2023 (excluding our special event days) to enjoy a magical journey on our miniature railway which takes you deep into our enchanting woods. You’ll be sure to spot woodland animals along the route, and perhaps a fairy tale themed teddy display or two.

The train will take you back to the picnic field where children can let off steam on the adventure play area. A recently extended attraction, the bespoke playground equipment is sure to fire up both imaginative and physical play.

Families can also explore the enchanted Fairy and Elf Walk, which winds through the magical woods where children can spot tiny fairies living in harmony with nature.

Don’t forget to wander into our nature corner, that is not only home to bugs and creepy crawlies this year, but some very talented fairies as well – be sure to tick them off in your activity booklet.

The Woodland café will be serving locally sourced and homemade food all day. We have everything you need for a memorable family day out in the great outdoors, whatever the season.

If you find yourself repeatedly visiting on our Woodland Adventure Days, you may want to consider a membership! Brand-new this year, our membership will allow you to enjoy UNLIMITED visits to the railway on our Woodland Adventure Days, priority booking for ALL of our Special Events and 10% off in our Shop and Café when you visit! (To find out when our Woodland Adventure Days are, view our opening times page on our website here).
