General Manager position now available!

Full-time, permanent after probationary period position now available.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated General Manager to oversee the strategic planning and lead the day to day operations and management of the site.  You will oversee the visitor experience, facilities & engineering, operations, marketing, events, retail and catering.  You will recruit, train, develop and line manage staff in all these areas.

The successful applicant must have the following skills:

  • Exceptional organisation and marketing knowledge
  • Financial Management experience and proven experience of maximising profitability
  • Strong leadership, motivation and people skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working as a General Manager or Senior Manager in the tourism industry desirable
  • Be passionate about providing exceptional customer service
  • Be a hands-on team player, always proactive and have a positive work-ethic
  • You will have the ability to react well under pressure and to stay calm and rational in emergency situations whilst leading the team

Experience:  General/Operational management: 5 years desirable

Education:  Higher level education essential.  Degree level or equivalent desirable
