Sunday, 16th May, 2004 marks the 40th Anniversary of the opening of the Audley End Railway by Stirling Moss on Sunday, 16th May, 1964.

To celebrate this very exciting occasion the Railway will be holding a special Gala Day.
The event will run from 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. and there will be six steam locomotives and two diesel engines in operation.

Train Fares for this event are:-   
Adults £2.50 Children £1.50

All visitors are welcome to come along in 1960's dress!

There will be a 1960's Quiz for Adults and a Guess the Word letter competition for the Children (entry free)

Other attractions include swing boats, a children's roundabout and sideshows, and hot food and refreshments will be available.
