Walk through the Enchanted Woodland at Audley End and see if you can spot the many little fairies and elves that live hidden in the woods in their fairy tree houses. Why not try finding Crystal, who lives down by the river and adores dancing over the lily pads, or her friend Sugarplum, the party loving fairy who loves to see children gathered together laughing. You could also try seeing Hazel, the fastest flying elf who darts about at high speed in the woods, or if you look down, his friend Willow who is the tree loving elf and can be found in the depths of the tree’s twisted roots. Be sure to make a wish at the Wishing Tree next to where Cristabelle, the wishing fairy lives and she could help your dream come true. . . .so follow the trail and discover the story of this enchanted woodland walk at Audley End.

The Fairy Walk will also be open on the following dates for the 2012 season:

June: Mon 4th and Tues 5th

July: Wed 25th

Aug: (Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday with the addition of the Bank Holiday Monday)

Wed 1st, Wed 8th, Wed 15th,  Wed 22nd, Mon 27th & Wed 29th

Sept: Every Saturday and Sunday until September 16th when the Fairy Walk will close.

Everyone loves to see Father Christmas and at Audley End we have our very own special Grotto where the train stops and Father Christmas greets the train with each child receiving a present.

 

The Signal Box Café is open with hot locally sourced food, beef burgers, pork sausages, Audley End Estate venison burgers and sausages.  Why not enjoy a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie or steaming hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows to keep the cold out.

 

Would strongly recommend you bring blankets and very warm clothes to keep the cold out.

All pre-paid tickets have been sold for the 29th and 30th and these tickets take priority. It is possible just to turn up but there may be a small waiting time but we will ensure everyone gets a ride   There are still tickets available for the 31st October.

The children loved seeing the Easter Bunny popping up as they travelled  around the line, stopping at the Easter burrow to receive their  chocolate treat.
