The Audley End Miniature Railway is a delightful 1.5 mile ride on Lord Braybrooke's private 10 ¼" gauge railway through Estate woodland.
There is free car parking and free admission to a picnic area and woodland walk.
The children all enjoy looking out for the teddies that live in the woods, while the adults are reminded of a nostalgic era, especially on Saturdays and Sundays when we usually haul the carriages with a steam engine.
We have a shop on site which is currently stocked with railway memorabilia, including goods from the Thomas the Tank Engine range and books of the history of the railway together with a selection of confectionary and ice-creams.
Hot and cold refreshments, cream teas and drinks are available from the Audley End Tea Cabin (weather permitting).
For added fun visit Graham’s Rides which include a vintage roundabout, swingboats and a bouncy castle.
