Audley End, Saffron Walden, Essex, England. 

The Audley End Miniature Railway is a delightful 1.5 mile ride on Lord Braybrooke's private 10 ¼" gauge railway through Estate woodland.

We open for the 2008 season on Saturday 15th March.

Train Fares for 2008 are:-    Adults £3.00 Children £2.00
Multi-Ride Tickets 2008 are:-    Adults £6.00 Children £4.00
Opening Times:-  2 pm on all running days except Bank Holidays,  Santa Specials
and Special Events which start at 11 am.

There is free car parking and free admission to a picnic area and woodland walk.
The last train departs at 4.45 p.m.

The children all enjoy looking out for the teddies that live in the wood, while the adults are reminded of a nostalgic era, especially on Sundays when steam engines haul the carriages.

We have a shop on site which is currently stocked with railway memorabilia, including goods from the Thomas the Tank Engine range and books of the history of the railway.  A selection of confectionary and ice-creams are also available along with various beverages.
